How to Make Healthy Lemon Drink

It's very well known that lemon is very good source of vitamin c. In earlier recipes, we knew about the recipes of minty lemon juice and lemon drink. But in that, we used sugar as a sweetening agent. And as we all know sugar is not so good for our health. So here it's a homemade recipe for the healthy lemon drink. In this recipe, I tried to use jaggery instead of sugar, and it tastes very nice with mint and ginger. So try this energy drink today.



Preparation time - 5 minutes
Cooking time - nil
Makes - 4 glasses

Ingredients to make Healthy Lemon Drink: 

3 to 4 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
Black salt a pinch
2 tablespoon ginger paste
4 tablespoon jaggery
8 to 10 mint leaves
Salt to taste

For garnishing:

Mint leaves 

Method to make Healthy Lemon Drink:

  • In a mixture, jar add chopped jaggery, mint leaves, ginger paste and churn to smooth paste. 
  • Add 3 1/2 glasses of chilled water to it and mix well. After that add lemon juice. 
  • Strain and then add salt, black salt and cumin powder to it. 
  • Again mix well and serve chilled.
  • At the time of serving garnish, healthy lemon drink with mint leaves.
