Yes! it's monsoon here. One of the best season. It is very nice to have hot ginger tea with some mouthwatering and piping hot pakodas. So, here it's a home made recipe for Mid Dal Pakodas. To make it healthy I tried to add more and more dals - lentil. Because as we all know lentils are very good source of protein. So enjoy this hot snack during this rainy season.
Preparation time - 10 to 15 minutes
Soaking time - 4 to 5 hours

Ingredients to Make mix Dal Pakoda:
1 cup yellow moong dal
2 to 3 table spoon chana dal (split bengal gram)
1 cup urad dal (split black lentil)
1 cup green moong dal
5 to 6 green chillies
1 table spoon ginger paste
1 to 1 1/2 table spoon garlic paste
Salt to taste
1/4 cup yellow moong dal
Oil to fry
To serve with:
Fried green chillies
Onion
Method to make Mix Dal Pakoda:
- Wash and soak 1 cup yellow moong dal, urad dal and chana dal in lukewarm water for 4 to 5 hours.
- In another bowl wash and soak green moong dal in warm water for 4 to 5 hours.
- Again in other bowl wash and soak 1/4 cup moong dal in warm water for 2 to 3 hours.
- After that wash green moong dal and try to remove more n more peels of it.
- Mix all dals excluding 1/4 cup moong dal and crush to fine paste with green chillies.
- Add salt, garlic paste and ginger paste to it. Mix well.
- At the time of frying drain and add remaining moong dal. Mix well.
- Heat oil and fry pakodas at medium flame till light brown.
- When ready remove and drain over absorbent paper.
- Serve hot Mix Dal Pakoda with fried green green chillies and onion.
- Instead of frying microwave green chillies with 1/2 tea spoon oil and salt for 1/2 minute.
