How to Make Paneer Potato Kabab

This is a very delicious stater recipe. It can be served as tea time snack or as any time snack also. I think Paneer potato kabab is an ideal recipe for kids party or kitty party also. To make it more healthy I used fresh home made paneer and some crunchy vegetables. Normally we makes fried kabab, but this home made recipe will give good taste without frying also. So enjoy the recipe of paneer potato kabab.

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 10 to 15 minutes

Ingredients to make Paneer Potato Kabab:

Paneer from 1 litre milk 
(200 grams approx.)
3 potatoes - boiled and mashed
1 onion finely chopped 
2 to 3 green chillies finely chopped
1/2 tea spoon chilli flacks
Salt to taste
2 table spoon finely chopped cabbage
1 table spoon finely chopped coriander
1 table spoon grated carrot
1/4 tea spoon garam masala
1/4 tea spoon freshly ground black pepper powder
Refined flour or bread crumbs for binding

For coating:

1 cup slurry of refined flour 
Bread crumbs for coating

Oil for frying

To serve with:

Tomato ketch up

Method to Make Paneer Potato Kabab:

  • Mix all ingredients of kabab in a bowl and mix well. Add refined flour or bread crumbs as required.
  • Make slurry with 1 table spoon refined flour and 1 1 cup water. 
  • Make kababs of equal size and shape. Dip in slurry and roll in bread crumbs. Repeat the same again.
  • Heat oil in a pan and dip fry kababs one by one in it till golden brown in colour.
  • When ready drain over absorbent tissue and serve with tomato ketch up and green chutney.
  • Even this Paneer Potatao Kabab can be served with salad or lachha onion also.
