How to Make Grilled Cheese Toast

In earlier recipe we learn to make cheese chilli toast. But now it's time for very delicious grilled cheese toast. It contains lots of yummy cheese with onion and little kasuri methi. Basically it's an open sandwich. It can be grilled in O.T.G. or may be in griller, and in case both are not available simple non stick tavi - griddle can be used. I think this can be the best option for kids party, kitty party, break fast or any time snack for kids as well as youngsters. So enjoy this home made cheesy recipe of Grilled Cheese Toast. 

Preparation time - 5 to 7 minutes
Cooking time - 10 minutes
Makes - 4 plates

Ingredients to make Grilled Cheese Toast:

8 slices bread
1 onion finely chopped
3 table spoon mozzarella cheese
2 green chillies finely chopped
1 tea spoon chilli flacks
1 tea spoon oregano
Salt to taste
2 to 3 tea spoon butter
1 tea spoon kasuri methi 
1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder
Oil or butter for greasing

To serve with: 

Tomato ketch up

Method to make Grilled cheese Toast:

  • In a big mixing bowl add onion, grated cheese, butter, chilli flacks, black pepper powder, oregano, crushed kasuri methi and green chilli. Mix well to make spread.
  • Remove sides from bread and spread above mixture over a slice of bread. Repeat the same for remaining. 
  • Apply some oil or butter on lower surface of griller or baking tray of O.T.G.
  • Place ready bread slice on it and bake or grill till the bread is crisp and cheese is melt. Repeat the same for remaining.
  • In case of tavi - griddle apply some oil or butter over tavi and place a slice on it. Cook covered till crisp. 
  • Serve hot Grilled Cheese Toast with tomato ketch up.
