The Crunch is Real: Ultimate Air Fryer Broccoli & Almond Tikkis

Preparation time - 5 to 7 minutes 

Air frying time - 15 minutes approx.

Microwave cooking time 1 1/2 minutes 

Ingredients to make Broccoli Almond Tikki in Air Fryer:

3 tablespoon finely chopped onion 

3 tablespoon finely chopped capsicum 

3 tablespoon finely chopped yellow bell peppers 

3 tablespoon finely chopped red bell peppers 

1/4 cup finely chopped broccoli 

1/4 cup grated paneer 

1 tablespoon besan (or as needed)

Salt to taste 

1 teaspoon chilli flakes 

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper powder 

4 to 5 almonds soaked, peeled and sliced 

Oil for brushing/spraying 

For Creamy mint chutney:

2 to 3 tablespoon green chutney 
2 teaspoon mayonnaise 


Method to make Broccoli Almond Tikki in Air Fryer:

  • First of all heat 3/4 glass water in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Add almonds to it. Soak for minimum 15 minutes covered. Peel and slice them.

For tikki:

  • Wash and chop all vegetables. ( Preferably in chopper)
  • Take all vegetables and paneer in a bowl and add all dry spices to it. 
  • Mix well, add gram flour if needed. 
  • Make equal parts from it. Make tikki from them and place a sliced almonds over it & press gently. 
  • Place them in air fryer over liner. Liner is advisable for cleaner air fryer. 
  • Brush/spray them with oil.
  • Air fry them at 180 degree celsius for 7 minutes. 
  • Later brush/spray oil (opt) and again air fry at 180 degree celsius for 7 to 10 minutes. 
  • Serve hot Broccoli Almond Tikki with creamy mint chutney. 
  • For making Creamy dip mix green chutney with mayonnaise.
