Ingredients to make Microwave Magic: Tindora Bataka Nu Shaak in less than 15 Minutes!:
250 gram tindora (ivy gourd)
1 medium size potato
2 teaspoon oil
1/4 teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste
1 1/2 tablespoon kashmiri red chilli powder
2 teaspoon cumin coriander powder 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
1 tablespoon sugar (opt)
Method to make Microwave Magic: Tindora Bataka Nu Shaak in less than 15 Minutes!
- First of all wash and chop tindora. Wash peel and chop potato.
- Transfer chopped vegetables in a microwave proof glass bowl.
- In a tempering pan heat oil and add cumin seeds in it.
- When they crackles, add turmeric powder to it.
- Pour it over chopped vegetables. Add salt to taste and mix well.
- Cover it with glass plate and cook in microwave for 3 to 4 minutes. Rest for 5 minutes.
- Check vegetables, if they are not cooked, again cook for one to two minutes. Again rest for 2 minutes.
- Open glass plate and mix well, at this stage add remaining spices in it. Mix properly.
- Cook for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes un covered.
