Ingredients to make From Gujarat to Your Plate: A Crispy, Modern Twist on Classic Dabeli - Crispy Dabeli Bites :

10 crackers 

For stuffing:

1 teaspoon oil

A pinch cumin seeds 

1 tablespoon crushed garlic 

1 medium onion finely chopped 

1 cup boiled and grated/mashed potato 

2 tablespoon dabeli masala

Salt to taste 

A hand full of chopped coriander leaves 

Masala shing as per choice 

Pomegranate seeds as per choice 

Garlic chutney 

Sweet chutney 

For garnishing:

Finely chopped coriander leaves 

Finely chopped onion 

Pomegranate seeds 

Nylon sev


Method to make From Gujarat to Your Plate: A Crispy, Modern Twist on Classic Dabeli - Crispy Dabeli Bites :

  • First of all wash and boil potatoes. Mash/grate them and keep a side.
  • In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds. Add garlic to it. Cook for 2 minutes at slow flame. 
  • Add chopped onion and cook until transparent. Add salt and Dabeli masala. Be careful while adding salt as Dabeli masala contains salt, so we need to add salt for onion only.
  • Mix well and cook for 2 minutes again. 
  • Add boiled potato and again mix well. 

  • At last add coriander leaves and masala peanuts to it and mix well. Add pomegranate seeds to it. 

  • Our super delicious Dabeli stuffing is ready. 

How to assemble:

  • Take a crackers and apply garlic chutney over it, spread a thick layer of dabeli stuffing on it. 
  • Sprinkle some of onion, masala peanuts and pomegranate seeds over it. 
  • Add few drops of sweet chutney over it and at last cover with another cracker. 
  • Press gently and cover all four sider with onion, pomegranate, masala shing and nylon sev. 
  • Our super delicious crispy dabeli bites are ready to serve.
