How to make Dabeli Rolls

Recipe by Naiya Shet5h: As we all know dabeli is a very well known street food. And among them, Kutchi dabeli is very popular. Earlier we made different types of dabeli like dabeli itself, dabeli sandwich and dabeli toppings. But here it's time to make same delicious taste without bread. Yes, here it is a very delicious dabeli rolls. Here in this homemade recipe, I tried to make the delicious roll on simple fulka roti. Even leftover fulka roti can also be done. And it is very convenient for kids lunch box also. So, let's try this super delicious snack Dabeli Rolls.

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 10 to 15 minutes
Makes 4 rolls

Ingredients to make Dabeli Rolls:

2 fulka roties
1 teaspoon oil
A pinch cumin seeds
1 small onion finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon crushed garlic
Salt to taste
2 boiled and mashed potatoes
2 tablespoon dabeli masalo
1 cube grated cheese
1 tablespoon roughly crushed roasted peanuts
1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
1 tablespoon sev
Tomato ketchup as needed
Butter/oil as needed

To serve with:

Tomato ketchup

Methos to make Dabeli Rolls:

For stuffing:

  • In a small pan add oil and when it's hot add finely chopped onion and garlic chutney to it. Now cook till transparent. When ready add peanuts and dabeli masalo to it. Add mashed potatoes to it. Mix well and cook for 1/2 minutes. 

How to assemble:

  • Take a roti on flat surface and apply above masalo on it. Spread properly. Spread some tomato ketchup on it.
  • Now sprinkle some crushed peanuts, pomegranate seeds and grated cheese on it.
  • Roll it and shallow fry both sides on non-stick tavi/griddle with butter or oil.
  • Cut and garnish with sev and tomato ketchup.
  • Hot, healthy and delicious Dabeli Rolls are ready to serve.
