And specially this delicious sweet from Rajkot is very popular. Here in this home made recipe I tried to make this yummy penda at home with less efforts. You won't believe it is very easy and quick to make penda at home. It is made from all natural ingredients, no artificial colour or flavour is added. So, try this delicious recipe of Malai Penda today.

Ingredients to make Malai Penda:
500 ml. milk
1 table spoon corn flour
50 grams sugar
Lemon juice as needed
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
Saffron (opt.)
For garnishing:
Chopped almonds
Chopped pistachio
Cardamom
Saffron
Method to make Malai Penda:
- In a flat non stick pan mix milk and sugar. Cook them at medium flame till boiling temp.
- At this stage add diluted lemon juice to it and stir till curdles.
- Now mix corn flour to 2 table spoon water and again add slowly to above mixture. (At this stage add saffron to the mixture.) Cook till it get the texture like penda.
- Add some cardamom powder and mix well.
- Let it cool at room temperature.
- Now make small balls of desired size and shape.
- Garnish with almonds,saffron, pistachio and cardamom.
- Wow mouthwatering Malai Penda is ready to eat.
