Recipe By Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Coconut Barfi. In earlier recipe we learn to make Chocolate Vanilla Barfi. And now it's time for yummy and quick coconut barfi. It's a home made recipe for fresh coconut barfi. It gives a very fresh and rich taste. Most important thing of this recipe is that it can be taken during fast also. Even it can served as sweet with lunch or dinner.

Ingredients to make Coconut Barfi:
4 fresh coconuts
2 table spoon ghee - clarified butter
2 cups milk
2 to 3 table spoon sugar
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
For garnishing:
Sliced almonds
Sliced Pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Method to make Coconut Barfi:
- Grate coconut and keep aside.
- In a non stick pan heat ghee and add grated coconut. Cook till light brown at very slow flame.
- When ready add milk and again cook till thicken.
- At last add sugar and again cook for 4 to 5 minutes. At last add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Spread the mixture in greased plate and garnish with cardamom seeds, pistachio and almonds. Cut in desired shape.
- Serve Coconut Barfi with lunch or dinner.
