Learn how to make Aloo Gobi Matter. It's winter now, time for different vegetables. I tried this Aloo Gobi Matter in my style to reduce fat.
Actually I don't like the smell of boiled cauliflower and at the same time wanted to reduce fat also. Means no chance for fried cauliflower.
But it comes with very nice aroma and taste. I try to make this vegetable half in microwave and half on flame to reduce time and fat. So enjoy cooking this home made recipe my way. Enjoy cooking!

- Cooking time - 10 to 12 minutes
- Serves - 3 person
Ingredients to Make Aloo Gobi Matter
- 3 to 4 tea spoon
- 1 tea spoon cumin
- 2 onion finely chopped
- 1 table spoon green chili paste
- 1/2 tea spoon ginger paste
- 1/2 tea spoon garlic paste
- 2 tomatoes finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 200 grams steamed cauliflower
- 1 potato steamed
- 1/2 cup blanched green peas
- 2 tea spoon red chilli powder
- 1 table spoon dry coriander powder
- 1 table spoon cumin powder
- 1 tea spoon garam masalo
For garnishing:
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Onion rings
Method to Make Aloo Gobi Matter
- Wash and chop potatoes and cauliflower.
- In a microwave proof steamer add sufficient water and steam cauliflower and potatoes. Keep a side.
- In a pan heat oil and add cumin seeds, when crackles add finely chopped onion and then add ginger, chilli and garlic paste. Cook till onion is transparent. Now add finely chopped tomatoes and cook properly.
- When cooked add all dry spices and again cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add steamed potatoes, cauliflower and blanched green peas to it. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Add some water if needed.
- Hot, delicious and healthy Aloo Gobi Matter is ready to serve. Serve it with Indian bread roti or puri.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves & onion rings.
