Methi Matar Malai Recipe - How to Make Methi Matar Malai Recipe at Home

But now it's a spicy and yummy recipe for Methi Matar Malai. It is a colourfull vegetable with goodness of methi - fenugreek leaves and green peas. Ingredients to Make Methi Matar Malai
- 1 tea spoon oil
- 1/4 tea spoon asafoetida
- 200 gram fenugreek leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 table spoon oil
- 1 tea spoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 tea spoon garlic paste
- 1/2 tea spoon ginger paste
- 2 to 3 green chili paste
- 2 tomatoes blanched and peeled
- 2 table spoon fresh cream
- 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
- 2 tea spoon red chilli powder
- 1 tea spoon cumin coriander powder
- 1/2 cup blanched green peas
- 1 tea spoon tomato ketch up
Method to Make Methi Matar Malai
- Wash and chop fenugreek leaves and spread them on muslin cloth for minimum 30 minutes.
- In a pan heat 1 tea spoon oil and add asafoetida to it. Add chopped fenugreek leaves and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, add salt to taste. Keep a side.
- In another pan add 2 table spoon oil and then add cumin seeds to it. When it crackles add finely chopped onion and cook for 2 minutes. Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste to it and again cook for 1 minute.
- Add finely chopped blanched tomatoes and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. When cooked add salt, tomato ketchup and spices to it. At last add fresh cream to it and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- At last add boiled green peas and ready fenugreek leaves. Mix well.
- Cook for 2 minutes. Hot and spicy Methi Matar Malai is ready to serve.
