Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Paneer Chaat. Paneer - cottage cheese is a very good source of calcium. So here it's a different chaat recipe from creamy home made paneer. Means no more potatoes and of course no more frying. Even this recipe is easy and quick also. If paneer and chutneys are ready just assemble it. Even my kid also can do it, because he is a paneer lover.

Ingredients to make Paneer Chaat:
150 grams paneer
1 cup crispy masala bundi
1 cup whisked sweet curd
1/2 cup sweet chutney
2 table spoon green chutney
1 tea spoon red chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon chaat masalo
1/2 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
1 table spoon oil
Salt to taste
For garnishing:
Nylon sev
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Finely chopped mint leaves
Pomegranate seeds
Method to make Paneer Chaat:
- Cut paneer into 1 1/2" thick pieces. Sprinkle salt and chaat masalo over it. Keep a side for 10 minutes. Shallow fry in non stick pan with very little oil at slow flame till light brown in colour. Keep a side.
- Mix whisked sweet curd and masala bundi in a bowl and keep a side for 5 minutes.
- In a serving plate Spread curd mixture, Now dip each piece of paneer in sweet chutney and place it over curd.
- Spread some green chutney over it and sprinkle salt, red chilli powder and roasted cumin powder over it.
- Finally garnish Paneer Chaat with nylon sev, coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds and freshly chopped mint leaves.
- Serve yummy Paneer Chaat as starter or snacks also.
