How to Make Lausanne

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Lausanne. Here in this recipe it is made in microwave. Means an international dish with easy process.
Lausanne is an easy version of Italian pasta.
Preparation time – 20 minutes
Cooking time – 16 minutes
Serves – 4 people

Ingredients to make Lausanne:

For Lausanne sheets:
1 cup refined flour
½ cup spinach puree
1 table spoon oil
Salt to taste

For Tomato Sauce:

1 cup tomato puree
½ cup cream
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1 tea spoon oregano
1 tea spoon sugar
Salt to taste

For White Sauce:

1 table spoon refined flour
1 table spoon butter
1 cup milk
1 cup grated cheese
1 tea spoon black pepper powder
Salt to taste

Method to make Lausanne:

For Lausanne sheets:

1. Mix all ingredients of Lausanne and make hard dough.
2. Cover with wet muslin cloth and keep a side for 15 minutes.
3. Roll thin rotties and cut like Lausanne.
4. In a microwave proof bowl pour 2 cups of water and add salt and oil to it. Cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.
5. Add half of lausanne sheets to it and again cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.
6. Strain water from it and keep a side. Repeat the process for another lausanne sheets.

For Tomato Sauce:

1. Mix all the ingredients of tomato sauce in a microwave proof bowl and cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.

For white Sauce:

1. In a microwave proof bowl mix butter and refined flour and cook for 1 minute at MICRO HI.
2. Now add milk, salt and black pepper powder and again cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.

For Lausanne:

1. In a microwave proof greased baking dish spread half lausanne sheets, then pour tomato sauce over it.
2. Again spread remaining lausanne sheets pour white sauce over it.
3. Spread grated cheese over it and cook for 6 minutes at MICRO HI.
