Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Anjeer-Fig Basundi. As we all know fig-anjir is very good for health. It is a very good source of hemoglobin. Basundi is one of most favourite recipe for Gujarati people. Earlier we learn to make paneer pista basundi, mango basundi, and orange basundi in this blog. But now it's a home made recipe for Anjeer Basundi. It is very easy and healthy recipe.

Ingredients to make Anjeer Basundi:
8 cups full fat milk
2 cups sweet condensed milk
1 1/2 to 2 cups finely chopped fig-anjir
For garnishing:
Finely chopped fig-anjeer
Method to make Anjeer Basundi:
- Soak chopped anjeer in warm milk for 30 minutes. Keep aside.
- Boil milk in non stick pan for 10 minutes, add condensed milk to it and again boil for minimum 10 to 15 minutes.
- Churn soaked anjeers to smooth paste.
- Remove basundi from flame and add anjeer paste to it, Mix well.
- Store in refrigerator till chill. Garnish with finely chopped anjeer.
- Sweet and chilled Anjeer Basundi is ready to serve. Serve it with roti or puri.
