How to Make Strawberry Yoghurt

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Strawberry Yoghurt. Strawberry is a very famous citrus fruit. A very rich and juicy fruit. It contains vitamin C, manganese, fibre, potassium etc. It can be taken as low cal. diet. Here it's a home made recipe for Strawberry yoghurt. As I mention above strawberries are very good for health, yoghurt - curd is also a very good source of calcium. Some times children avoids to take curd in that case this yoghurt can be very good option
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 5 minutes

Ingredients to make Strawberry Yoghurt:  

2 cups hung curd
3 to 4 table spoon powder sugar
2 table spoon sugar
10 to 12 strawberries

For garnishing:

Strawberry slices
Mint leaves

Method to make Strawberry Yoghurt:

  • Hang curd in muslin cloth for 3 to 4 hours in refrigerator.
  • Add powder sugar to curd and mix well. Keep in refrigerator.
  • Wash and chop strawberries. Crush them with sugar and cook till thicken.
  • Let it cool at room temp. 
  • Mix strawberry mixture and yoghurt together. 
  • Garnish with sliced strawberries and mint leaves.
  • Serve chilled Strawberry Yoghurt to kids.


  • Any berry like blueberry, jambu (wild berry) etc. can be used with same method.
  • Sugar can be avoided.
