How to Make Pina Coconut Drink

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Pina Coconut Drink. Pineapple and coconut! two fresh and yummy flavour together. As we all know pineapples and coconuts are available for whole year. Green coconuts can be called the most preferred drink. Fresh coconut water is low in carbs and sugar. It is 99% fat free drink. So it is advisable to have a glass full of coconut water everyday. Coconut water keeps our body cool and carries nutrients and oxygen to our cells.

It can control diabetes and boosts our immune system. On other hand pineapple  contains vitamin c, vitamin B6, vitamin B1, fibre, manganese, copper etc. It is a low calorie fruit. So it's an honest try to mix both healthy fruit to gather and make a yummy healthy and easy soft drink. Enjoy the rich taste of Pina Coconut Drink

Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - nil
Serves - 4 glasses

Ingredients to make Pina Coconut Drink:

1 pineapple chopped
3 cups coconut water
3 to 4 table spoon sugar syrup
Coconut meat from 2 fresh green coconut
8 to 10 ice cubes

For garnishing:

Pineapple slices

Ingredients to make sugar syrup:

1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Method to make Pina Coconut Drink:

For sugar syrup:

  • Mix sugar and water together in a pan and cook till sugar dissolves. Let it come to room temperature.

How to proceed:

  • Mix all the ingredients in a blender and churn properly. 
  • Strain it.
  • Pour the drink in a serving glass and garnish with pineapple slices.
  • Easy but healthy Pina Coconut Drink is ready to serve. 


  • In case fresh pineapple is not available, tinned pineapple can be taken. In that case sugar syrup should be avoided.
