Recipe by Naiya Sheth: As we all know Kansar is well known Indian traditional sweet.Normally we make it during holly occasions traditionally. But here it’s a homemade recipe for Kansar in the microwave.

Serves – 4 to 6 people
Ingredients to make Kansar:
2 cups coarse wheat flour
1 cup water
4 tablespoon jaggery –grated
2 to 3 tablespoon ghee
4 teaspoon oil
5 tablespoon caster sugar
For garnishing:
Ghee
Caster sugar
Method to make Kansar:
1. in a microwave proof big bowl, mix water, ghee and jaggery. Cook for 2 minutes or till jaggery dissolves in water at MICRO HI.
2. in other dish mix wheat flour and oil. Add it to jaggery mixture, mix well.
3. Cook for 3 minutes at MICRO HI covered. Stir.
4. Again cook for 3 minutes or until cooked at MICRO HI covered. Make sure to stir and not more than 3 minutes at a time.
5. Give the standing time of 2 minutes.
6. Remove from the bowl and mash roughly with hand or spoon.
7. Garnish with ghee and caster sugar. Hot and sweet Kansar is ready to serve.
