Rajgira Halwa: A sweet trip to tradition! - Gluten free heaven

Hello friends! Welcome to Naiya's Recipes!! ☺️

Janmashtami is the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna and is celebrated all over India. It is a celebration of the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu. This  religious festival is celebrated on astami of Krishna paksha of Shravan month according to the Hindu calender with great devotion and zeal. It is also known as Gokulashtami and Krishnaasthami.

Rajagra Halwo is made from rajgara flour and you can eat it in fast. It's a stomach feeling recipe for fasts. The most important thing about this recipe is that it is made in the microwave oven, so very quick and easy to make and fast to eat.

Rajgira flour is an excellent source of plant-based protein, making it particularly beneficial for vegetarians and vegans.

This high protein content, along with its rich dietary fiber, contributes to a feeling of fullness, which can help with weight management by curbing appetite and reducing overall calorie intake.

Since it's naturally gluten-free, rajgira flour is a great alternative for individuals with celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, or a preference for a gluten-free diet.

Rajgira contains beneficial nutrients like potassium, which helps relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure.
The presence of phytosterols and fiber can help reduce "bad" LDL cholesterol levels, promoting better cardiovascular health.
Enjoy cooking! ☺️
