Submarine Sandwich

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make delicious sabmarine sandwich with the goodness of vegetables. Submarine sandwich is a sandwich which is not called junk food. Because this recipe contains vitamins as well as calcium also. It is full of vegetables and cheese - cottage cheese.

Ingredients to make Submarine Sandwich:

Hot dog bun

Salad leaves or cabbage leaves

Tomatoes (sliced)

Boiled potato (sliced)

Cucumber (sliced)

Cabbage, cucumber, carrot (grated)

1 cup
Cheese slice or paneer slice (cut in to two)

Salt to test


Black pepper powder

1 tea spoon
Mayonnaise

2 table spoon
Butter for frying
 Onion (sliced)

Method to make Submarine Sandwich:

  1. shallow fry potato slices in butter, keep a side.
  2. Cut cabbage leaves and cheese slice into two.
  3. Cut bun in to two horizontally and shallow fry in butter, keep a side.
  4. Take a lower part of bun,put 2 slices of cabbage leaves on it, spread cucumber slice, tomato slice, potato slice and  onion slices on it. Pour mayonnaise and spread it properly.
  5. Again spread some of tomato,cabbage and cucumber slices over it. Sprinkle salt and black pepper on them.
  6. Put cheese slices on salad.
  7. Spread grated cabbage, cucumber and carrot over it. Close the Sandwich with the upper part of bun.
  8. Serve Submarine Sandwich with french fries and tomato ketch up.
