How to Make Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Grill vegetable sandwiches are well known every where. But here I tried to make it more healthy, delicious and rich. In this home made recipe I tried to add paneer with extra taste of mayonnaise, and salsa sauce. Basically this is a three layer sandwich to fulfill big hunger. So try this delicious and tangy Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich as dinner or in high tea.




Preparation time - 10 to 15 minutes
Cooking time - 3 to 4 minutes
Grilling time - 8 to 10 minutes
Makes 2 sandwiches

Ingredients to make Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich:

6 slices bread 
(I used whole wheat bread)
Butter as needed

For salsa spread:

1 table spoon mayonnaise
1 table spoon tomato ketch up
1 table spoon salsa sauce
2 table spoon hung curd
1/4 cup grated and pressed cucumber
1/4 cup grated carrot
Salt to taste

For first layer: 

1/4 cup paneer cubes
1/2 onion cubes
1/4 capsicum cubes
Salt to taste
1/4 tea spoon black pepper powder
1/4 tea spoon oil

For second layer:

10 to 12 cucumber slices
8 to 10 tomato slices
8 to 10 onion slices
4 to 5 capsicum slices
1 cube grated cheese (opt.)
1/4 tea spoon sandwich masalo

Method to make Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich:

For spread:

  • Hang curd for minimum 30 minutes and then mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Keep a side in refrigerator.

For first layer:

  • In a big bowl mix all ingredients and keep a side for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cook at slow flame foe 2 to 3 minutes in non stick pan.

How to assemble Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich:

  • Apply butter on first bread and then spread salsa spread on it. Spread paneer mixture over it and cover with another bread.
  • Spread butter on it and then spread some tomato ketch up on it. Now spread slicer vegetables and cheese on it. 
  • Cover with last bread and at last spread some butter on both outer sides of breads.
  • Repeat the same for another one.
  • Grill in grill maker till crisp.
  • Serve hot and delicious Vege Paneer Salsa Sandwich with juice.
