Potato Bites recipe
Recipe By Naiya Sheth: A very easy and delicious recipe from all-time favorite Potatoes. As we all know potatoes are available all year. So it's a delicious homemade recipe of balls from potatoes which are crisp outside and soft and cheesy inside. Basically, potatoes are the main ingredient but to make it healthy I tried to add some finely chopped vegetables also. This mouthwatering recipe of Potato Bites can be served as any time snacks as a starter also.

Ingredients to make Potato Bites:
1 cup boiled and grated potatoes
2 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon finely chopped capsicum
1 tablespoon finely chopped carrot
2 teaspoon chili flacks
1 teaspoon oregano/pizza oregano
Salt to taste
2 grated cheese cubes
1 to 2 tablespoon dry bread crumbs as needed
For coating:
2 cup tablespoon Corn flour
1 tablespoon rice flour
A pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon chili flacks
Dry bread crumbs
Oil for frying
Method to make Potato Bites:
- Mix all ingredients of potato bites and add bread crumbs as needed for binding.
- Make small balls from it.
- In a bowl mix cornflour, rice flour, salt and chili flacks. Add water to make a medium-thick slurry.
- Dip balls in slurry and coat with bread crumbs. Repeat again. Repeat same for remaining balls.
- Heat oil and fry potato bite at medium flame until golden brown.
- Serve piping hot Potato Bites with tomato ketchup or chili tomato sauce.
Tips:
- You can store this non-fried potato bites in the deep freeze for 15 to 20 days in an airtight container. At the time of serving remove from deep freeze and fry.
