Jambu Mojito recipe
Recipe by Naiya Sheth: It's monsoon now, a pick season of very beautiful and healthy fruit Jambu. We all know that jambu is very delicious fruit. But it comes for a very short time. So here I am making a delicious squash and then mojito from it. The earlier recipe we made Jambu Squash with raw sugar and raw jambus. But in this homemade recipe cooked sugar and jambu is taken to store it for a long time. So, let's make mouthwatering Jambu Mojito from this squash.
Preparation time - 5 minutes

Ingredients to make Jambu Mojito:
2 cups big ripe jambus
1 cup sugar (approx.)
1 lemon
For serving:
Freshly chopped mint leavesLemon slices
Soda water
Ice cubes
Method to make Jambu Mojito:
- In a big saucepan add sugar and water. Cook until boiling temperature.(Sugar quantity can vary up to sourness of jambu.)
- Now add jambu pulp to it.
- Cook for 4 to 5 minutes at medium flame.
- Let it cool at room temperature. Remove seeds from jambus.
- Churn pulp and sugar syrup together.
- Strain if required. Add lemon juice and mix well.
How to assemble:
- In a muddler muddle mint leaves and lemon slices.
- Take some ice cubes in a serving glass. Now add 2 to 3 tablespoons of above jambu squash to it.
- It's time to add muddled lemon slices and mint leaves to it.
- At last, fill the glass with chilled soda water.
- Our mouthwatering, beautiful and chilled Jambu Mojito is ready to drink.
