Watermelon Lemonade

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Once again very easy and short no more cooking recipe. As summer is here, and a very good season of sweet red watermelons. Of course, it is very nice to eat chilled fresh watermelon. But again it's nice to make watermelon Lemonade. So let's make and sip chilled watermelon lemonade tonight.



Preparation time - 5 to 7 minutes
Cooking time 2 to 3 minutes
Serves 2 glasses

Ingredients to make Watermelon Lemonade:

1 to 1/2 cup watermelon
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoon sugar (approx.)
2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
Lots of ice

For garnishing:

Lemon slices




Method to make Watermelon Lemonade:

  • In a saucepan add sugar and 3 to 4 tablespoon water. Cook until sugar dissolves. Let the syrup cool and then chill in the refrigerator.
  • Churn watermelon and fill half of the glass with pulp, add sugar syrup as needed. (as per the sweetness of watermelon.)
  • Mix well and add about 1 teaspoon lemon juice. Fill the glass with crushed ice or chilled water.
  • At last garnish with lemon slices.
  • Repeat the same for second glass.
  • Chilled Watermelon Lemonade is ready to sip.
