Recipe by Naiya Sheth:In earlier recipes we made Dabeli and Dabeli sandwich, and now it's time to do something new. Now it's time to make something different and interesting. Yesterday I tried to make a starter from dabeli stuffing. I made fresh stuffing but after that, I realise leftover dabeli stuffing can be served this way smartly. For this, I used small byte size crispies, but crackers can also be used. So let's try this delicious and easy homemade recipe of Crispy Dabeli Toppings today.

Ingredients to make Crispy Dabeli Toppings:
For crispies:
1 cup refined flour
1/3 cup semolina
2 tablespoon rice flour
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
For topping:
1 small onion finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic paste
1/4 teaspoon garlic paste
1 teaspoon oil
2 potatoes boiled and mashed
1 tablespoon dabeli masalo
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
1 tablespoon masala peanuts
1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
For garnishing:
Sev
masala peanuts
Coriander
Method to make Crispy Dabeli Toppings:
For crispies:
- Mix all ingredients of crispies and make stiff dough from it.
- Keep aside for minimum 30 minutes.
- Make equal size small balls from it and then roll it.
- Prick and fry in hot oil at medium flame till light pink in color.
- When ready remove and let them cool.
- Store in air tight container.
For toppings:
- Heat oil in a pan and add garlic paste to it. Now add onion and cook well. At last add spices and mashed potatoes to it.
- Mix well. Now time to add masala peanuts and coriander to it.
- Let it cool at room temperature.
How to assemble:
- Place some crispies in serving plate and cover with toppings.
- Time to sprinkle sev, masala peanuts and coriander.
