How to Make Quick Snacks

Recipe by : Naiya Sheth. Quick snacks are very important during festive season and vacations. Here in this home made recipe I tried to make very quick yet delicious snack. This is a very interesting recipe, and I think if preparation is done kids also can assemble in their get to gather. In this recipe of I used canapés, a very crisp roasted basket. I filled it with so many yummy fillings of beans, chat, pasta, puff rice and even ice cream also. So, this time be prepared with this healthy and quick snack.





Preparation time: 10 to 15 minutes
Cooking time: 1 1/2 to 2 minutes

Ingredients to make Quick Snacks:

1 box canapés

For pasta filling:

1 cup Pasta
Grated cheese as needed

For Beans filling:

1 cup beans
Grated cheese as needed
Chilli flacks and oregano as needed 

For chaat filling:

1/4 cup boiled chana
1/4 cup boiled potato
1/4 cup boiled mung
1 table spoon chopped onion
1 table spoon  chopped capsicum
1 table spoon pomegranate seeds
Sweet chutney as needed 
Green chutney as needed 
Garlic chutney as needed 
Nylon sev as needed

For puffed rice filling:

1/2 cup roasted rice puff
1/4 cup sev
4 to 5 masala crispies 
Tomato ketch up as needed
 table spoon chopped onion
1 table spoon  chopped capsicum
1 table spoon pomegranate seeds
Chopped coriander as needed

For sweet filling:

Melted dark chocolate
Vanilla ice cream 
        or
Ice cream of your choice
Chocolate sauce
Roasted and chopped nuts

Method to make Quick Snacks:

First of all crisp canapés in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.

For pasta filling:


  • Fill luke warm pasta in crisp canapés and cover with grated cheese.
  • Sprinkle some chilli flacks and oregano on it.

For Beans filling:


  • Fill Luke warm beans in crisp canapés and cover with grated cheese.
  • Sprinkle some chilli flacks and oregano on it.

For Chat filling:


  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Fill it in canapés.
  • Spread some nylon sev on it.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander and chopped onion.

For Puffed rice filling:


  • Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Fill it in canapés
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

For sweet filling:


  • Dip canapés in melted chocolate. Keep in refrigerator for minimum 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Put a scoop of ice cream in it. Pore some chocolate sauce on it. 
  • Garnish with roasted nuts.

Tips:

  • In case of sweet filling chopped fresh fruits also can be used. 

Enjoy quick and healthy any time quick snack.
