Ingredients to make Farali Potato Wraps:
For wraps:
3/4 cup faali flour
(easily available in market)
1 tea spoon oil
fasting salt to taste
Ghee - clarified butter to spread
Dry flour for dusting
For sabji:
3 to 4 boiled potatoes
1 table spoon oil
1/4 tea spoon cumin seeds
1 green chilli finely chopped
1/4 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 table spoon sugar
1/2 table spoon roughly crushed roasted peanuts
1/2 tea spoon sesame seeds
Salt to taste
For spread:
1/2 cup hung curd
1 table spoon cheese spread
1 1/2 table spoon tomato ketch up
1/4 grated cucumber (pressed)
2 to 3 table spoon chopped cucumber
1 Beat - grated
Method to Make Farali Potato Wraps:
- Make semi soft dough from farali flour and keep a side for 10 minutes covered.
- Make equal size balls from it and roll thin roti from. (it will not be possible to make very thin roti.)
- Prepare roti from it and apply some ghee over it.
- Keep a side.
For sabji:
- Boil and chop potatoes in small size.
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seed to it. When they crackles add sesame seeds, peanuts and green chilies to it.
- Add potatoes and make seasoning to it.
- Mix well and at last sprinkle coriander to it.
- Keep a side.
For spread:
- Hang curd for minimum 45 minutes.
- Mix all ingredients of spread to it and mix well.
- Make sure to press cucumber properly.
To assemble:
- Take a roti and spread above spread on it, now place subji at the middle of it.
- Spread some grated beat over it and roll properly.
- Repeat the same for remaining.
- Cut and enjoy delicious Farali Potato Wraps as full meal.
