How to Make Minty Watermelon Chaat

In earlier post we saw the watermelon salad recipe. But now it's something different from yummy sweet watermelon. Must be surprised, but yes it's a mouthwatering chaat from watermelon. It's a hot and cool chaat. Hot hot potatoes ad paneer with cool watermelon and with yummy minty flavour. So enjoy this unusual chaat.

Preparation time - 10 to 15 minutes
Cooking time - 3 to 4 minutes
Makes - 4 servings

Ingredients to make - Watermelon Chaat:

3 cups chopped watermelon
1/2 cup boiled potatoes
1/2 cup paneer
Salt to taste
3 to 4 fresh mint leaves
1 table spoon chaat masalo
1 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 tea spoon black pepper powder
1/2 tea spoon dry mint powder
Oil for frying

For garnishing:

Fresh mint leaves

Method to make Watermelon Chaat:

  • Heat oil in a pan and fry boiled potato pieces and paneer pieces at slow flame till light brown in colour.
  • When ready drain over kitchen tissue.
  • In another bowl mix all ingredients of chaat and mix well. At last add freshly chopped mint leaves and again mix well.
  • Garnish with mint leaves. 
  • Yummy and healthy watermelon chaat is ready to serve.
