Ingredients to make Schezwan Sauce:
2 table spoon oil
1/4 cup garlic
1 tea spoon ginger paste
1 big onion
3 table spoon tomato pure
10 to 12 dry red kashmiri chilli
Salt to taste
1/4 tea spoon black pepper powder
1 tea spoon sugar
2 tea spoon white vinegar
1/2 tea spoon corn flour
Method to make Schezwan Sauce:
- Soak kashmiri red chilli in warm water for 30 minutes. Crush to fine paste with little water.
- In a non stick pan add oil and then add garlic, ginger paste and chopped onion.
- Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes at medium flame. Now add tomato pure and red chilli paste. Again cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Now add Salt, black pepper powder, sugar and vinegar at last.
- At last add corn flour slurry and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Let it cool at room temperature and churn to fine paste.
- Very delicious and famous Schezwan Sauce is ready to use in yummy Chinese recipes.
