Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Cream Salad. Normally we are used to make fruit salad as sweet or desert. Here fruit salad means a great sweet combination of fruits and thick custard. But in this home made recipe we are going to make cream salad. It is a very nice combination of single fat cream, vanilla ice cream and lots of fruits. It can be taken as sweet with lunch or dinner and of as desert also. In case it is served in lunch or dinner it has to be served with puri or double roti. In both cases it has to served chilled. So, enjoy this Indian desert today.

Ingredients to make Cream Salad:
500 grams single fat cream
3 scoop vanilla ice cream
1 ripe banana
1 medium apple
1/4 cup pomegranate seeds
1/8 cup orange
2 table spoon tinned cherry
2 to 3 table spoon caster sugar
1/8 cup green grapes
1/8 cup black grapes
1 small ripe mango
1/8 cup green grapes
1/8 cup black grapes
1 small ripe mango
2 slices pineapple
2 chikku/sapota
1 to 2 drops vanilla essence (opt.)
For garnishing:
chopped cashew nuts
Raisins
Cherry
Method to make Cream Salad:
- In a big mixing bowl mix cream, caster sugar and vanilla ice cream. Mix well. Add vanilla essence if needed. Keep in refrigerator to chill.
- Wash apple, chikku and banana and remove skin from them. Chop them very finely.
- Remove seeds from pomegranate and chop cherry in small size.
- Chop pineapple and orange.
- Mix all fruits in cream mixture and again keep in refrigerator to chill.
- At the time of serving garnish with cherry,cashews and raisins.
- Serve chilled cream salad with double roti or puri.
Tips:
- Fruits can be taken as per choice and season.
