Recipe By Naiya Sheth: Learn how to make Caramelized Curd. Actually curd is a natural milk product which is made by adding a small quantity of curd in lukewarm milk. And when it is mixed with fruits, dry fruits or any flavours it is called yoghurt. There are different types of yoghurt available in market. But here it's a home made recipe for Caramelized Yoghurt. A sweet yoghurt with rich and yummy taste of caramelized sugar.
Preparation time - 2 to 3 minutes
Cooking time - 5 to 7 minutes
Resting time - 4 to 5 hours (approx.)

Ingredients to make Caramelized Yoghurt:
3 cups milk
1 1/2 table spoon sugar
1/4 tea spoon cardamom powder
1/8 tea spoon nut mug powder
1 tea spoon curd
For garnishing:
Sliced almonds
Sliced pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Method to make Caramelized Yoghurt:
- In a big sauce pan add sugar and let it melt at slow flame. When it turns to brown in colour add warm milk to it and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add cardamom powder and nut mug powder to it.
- Let it cool at room temperature till lukewarm. Add curd to it and mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to clay pot and keep a side covered for 4 to 5 hours.
- When ready garnish with almond and pistachio slices and cardamom seeds.
- Serve chilled Caramelized Yoghurt with lunch or dinner.
