Ingredients to make Stuffed Paneer Dahi Vada:
For Paneer Balls:
200 grams paneer - cottage cheese
1 big potato boiled and mashed
Salt to taste
1 1/2 table spoon corn flour
For stuffing:
1 tablespoon chopped coriander
1 teaspoon chopped green chillies
1 tablespoon chopped cashews
1 tablespoon finely chopped roasted pea nuts
1 tablespoon grated fresh coconut
1 tablespoon milk powder
Oil for frying
For covering:
3 to 4 cups fresh whipped curd
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon sweet chutney
1 teaspoon green chutney
1 tablespoon sugar (opt.)
For garnishing:
Red chilli powder
Roasted cumin powder
Chaat masalo
Method to make Stuffed Paneer Dahi Vada:
For Paneer Balls:
- In a flat plate mash paneer properly. Mix all ingredients of paneer balls.
- Make equal size small balls from it and keep aside.
For stuffing:
- Mix all ingredients of stuffing properly.
How to assemble paneer balls:
- Take a portion of paneer ball in a palm and make it flat, fill stuffing in it and seal properly.
- Repeat the same for remaining.
- In a frying pan heat oil and fry paneer balls at medium flame till light brown.
- When ready drain over an absorbent tissue.
- Let it cool at room temperature.
How to make curd mixture:
- In a bowl mix whisked curd and salt. Add sugar if needed.
- Keep in refrigerator.
