Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Corn Flakes Chivda. In earlier recipe we learn about the making of corn flakes chaat. But in that recipe we had to add so many vegetables in it. Which is not possible during travelling. So it's a modified recipe to make it easier. In this home made recipe of Corn Flakes Chivda all dry ingredients are used so, it can be stored in air tight container for minimum 15 days.

Ingredients to make Corn Flakes Chivda:
2 cups corn flakes
1 roasted rice puffs
1/4 cup daliya
1/4 cup pea nuts
3 table spoon cashews
10 to 15 curry leaves
Salt to taste
1/4 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 tea spoon red chilli powder
1 tea spoon caster sugar
1/4 tea spoon mustard seeds
2 table spoon oil
A pinch asafoetida
Method to make Corn Flakes Chivda:
- Heat oil in a pan and add curry leaves to it. When cooked remove from oil. Now add daliya, pea nuts and cashews, let it fry to light pink.
- Add mustard seeds and asafoetida to it. Add corn flalkes and roasted rice puffs to it.
- Now add all dry spices to it.
- Mix well.
- Let it cool at room temperature and store in air tight container.
- This yummy Corn Flakes Chivda can be stored for minimum 15 days in air tight container.
