Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make coriander raita. We know that curd known as yoghurt is very rich in calcium. Along with calcium it contains carbohydrates, proteins, saturated fat and unsaturated fat. At the same time we are using coriander in this recipe which is good source of iron, magnesium,dietary fibre. It lowers bad cholesterol and rises good cholesterol. This home made recipe of Coriander Raita can be served at the time of lunch or dinner.

Ingredients to make Coriander Raita:
2 cups hung curd
1 cup chopped coriander
2 to 3 green chillies
Salt to taste
1 tea spoon roasted cumin powder
1/2 tea spoon sugar
For garnishing:
Finely chopped coriander leaves
Method to make Coriander Raita:
- Hang curd for 2 to 3 hours.
- Mix coriander leaves and green chillies in a mixture jar and grind to fine paste.
- Mix the paste and curd in a bowl and add salt, cumin powder and sugar to it.
- Whisk properly.
- Transfer to serving bowl and garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve fresh Coriander Raita with paratha or methi thepla.
