Ingredients to make Sev Tameta nu Shaak:
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 tea spoon crushed ginger
1 tea spoon crushed garlic
4 big tomatoes finely chopped
Salt to taste
1 table spoon oil
1 tea spoon cumin seeds
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 1/2 to 2 tea spoon red chili powder
1 table spoon jaggery or sugar
1 table spoon tomato sauce
For garnishing:
Finely chopped coriander leaves
To serve with:

1 onion finely chopped

1 tea spoon crushed garlic

Method to make Sev Tameta nu Shaak:
- Heat oil in a small pressure cooker, add cumin seeds. When it crackles add ginger, garlic paste.
- Cook for 1 minute. Add onion and cook till light pink.
- Now add chopped tomatoes and other spices. Add 1 1/2 cup water.
- Pressure cook for 1 whistle. When cooker is cool open lid and add tomato sauce and sugar or jaggery.
- Let it cook at medium flame till boiling temp.
- Garnish with coriander leaves. Hot and tempting Sev Tameta nu Shaak is ready to serve.
- Serve with roti, pratha or bajra no rotlo.
Tips:
- Add sev at the time of serving otherwise it it will be soggy.
