The next day of Holi is called Dhuleti. On this day people play with colors. On this day we don't eat cooked food whole day. Only dinner is taken after Holica Dahan. We have popcorn, dates, puffy rice etc.
So, here it's a home made recipe for one innovative dry snack to fulfill hunger and kids demand. We are using some vegetables, beans and chutneys in this recipe. Enjoy tangy recipe of Chaat Basket.
Preparation time - 15 to 20 minutes

Serves - 4 person
Ingredients to make Chaat Basket:
20 to 25 chat baskets
1/4 cup kabuli chana - soaked and boiled
1/4 cup boiled potato chopped
1/4 cup mung - soaked and boiled
1 big onion finely chopped
1/8 cup soaked peanuts
Seeds of 1 pomegranate
1 capsicum finely chopped
2 table spoon sweet chutney
1 1/2 table spoon green chutney
1 tea spoon garlic chutney (opt.)
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander
1/2 tea spoon chaat masalo
For garnishing:
Nylon sev
Pomegranate seeds
Coriander leaves
Grated beat root
Method to make Chaat Basket:
- Soak and boil mung and chana properly. Finely chop potatoes and keep aside.
- In a basket add mung, chana and potatoes.Add onion,capsicum,pomegranate and peanuts over it. Pour green, sweet and garlic chutney over it.
- Cover with nylon sev and garnish with onion,beat roots and coriander leaves. Sprinkle chat masalo over it.
- Repeat the same for remaining.
- Tempting Chaat Basket is ready to serve. Serve it with soft drink.
Serving suggestions for Chaat Basket:
- Filling material can be spread over Masala Crispies also.
- In stead of above filling you can use baked beans mixture in chaat basket. In that case cover with grated cheese and coriander.
Tips for Chaat Basket:
- Always add salt while cooking dry beans.
