Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Paratha. The home made recipe of paratha is very quick and can be eaten with any curry or vegetable. You can say lachchha paratha to this recipe.
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 30 minutes
Makes 15 parathas
Ingredients to make Paratha:
2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/8 cup soy flour
2 table spoon oil
Salt to taste
2 to 3 table spoon Mixture
of semi melted ghee and rice flour
Butter or ghee to apply on paratha

Ingredients to make Paratha:
2 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/8 cup soy flour
2 table spoon oil

2 to 3 table spoon Mixture
of semi melted ghee and rice flour

- Mix wheat flour, salt and oil in a big mixing bowl. Make semi soft dough with the help of water. Knead properly for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Divide dough in equal 15 portion. Roll round paratha from it and spread ghee mixture over it. Fold it in zig zag pattern and make round from it. Repeat the process for the rest.
- Roll the parathe and cook it on tava - griddle from both the side at medium flame.
- When light brown crispy paratha is ready remove from flame and apply ghee or butter over it.
- Repeat the same process for rest.
- Serve hot with curry or vegetable.
Tips:
- You can make triangle paratha by folding them twice.
- Half of wheat flour and refined flour can be taken.
