Vanilla Cake

Learn, how to make delicious vanilla flavor egg less home made  vanilla cake recipe

It's a fact that vanilla is a rich flavor loved by every one. We can use any icing on it. And vanilla cake is very easy to make also.

Serves - 8
Preparation time - 20 minutes
Cooking time - 45 minutes

Ingredients to make Vanilla cake:

Flour (self rising)
:
170 gram
Condensed milk
:
260 gram
Butter
:
50 gram
Milk
:
50 ml
Soda bi-carb
:
½ tea spoon
Baking soda
:
1 tea spoon
Vanilla essence
:
1 ½ tea spoon
For soaking:



Water
:
200 ml
Sugar
:
200 gram
Butter for (greasing)


Flour (for dusting)


Method to make Vanilla Cake:
    Pamela's Products Classic Vanilla Cake Mix, 21-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6)
  1.  Mix butter and condensed milk together till smooth.
  2. Sift the flour, baking powder and soda bi-carb together for 2 - 3 times.
  3. Mix the flour into the flour and condensed milk mixture, alternating with the milk. Add essence and mix well.
  4. Grease an oven proof bowl with butter and dust it with flour.
  5. Pour the mixture in to the tin and bake it for 40 - 45 minutes at 200. c at preheated oven.
  6. Insert a tooth pick into the centre of the cake. If it comes out clean the cake is ready.
  7. Let vanilla cake cool at room temperature on wire rack.
  8. Make a syrup with sugar and water. Cut the cake horizontally in ti 2 same size parts.Soak both the part with sugar syrup and sandwich the upper layer of the cake with desired icing.

    Recipe looks good. But could you post the measurements in cups for the grams mentioned? Approximate measurement would also be of great help.

  2. Hi Suni Thanks for your concern. For this recipe cup measurements are - 1 measurement cup means 200 ml. So you can have approx. idea for dry ingredients and you will have to take 1/4 cup milk.
