It is very natural to have sweet bundi - mithi bundi during festivals. In our earlier recipe we made Bundi na ladoo, but now it's time for sweet bundi, which can be taken by spoon also. As the ladoo, this is also very easy and quick. But give some addition I added little sooji to the recipe and it came out very nicely. So enjoy the recipe of Mithi Bundi without any artificial material.

1/4 teaspoon saffron
3 teaspoon ghee
1 teaspoon cardamom powder

For bundi:
1 cup Gram flour
1 tablespoon semolina
1 cup water
Oil for dip frying
For sugar syrup:
1 1/2 cup sugar1 cup water
1/4 teaspoon saffron
3 teaspoon ghee
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
For garnishing:
Sliced almondsSlices pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Method to make Mithi Bundi:
- First of all take sugar in a pan and add water to it. Heat them and let the sugar melt. Stir continually. Let syrup boil for 2 minutes and now syrup is ready.
- Add saffron, ghee and cardamom powder to it. Keep aside.
- Make batter from gram flour, semolina and water.
- Heat oil in a pan and drop bundi in hot oil through perforated spoon (bundi jhara). Fry the bundis over a high flame to a light golden colour, taking care to ensure that they are not very crisp.
- Add fried bundi to warm sugar syrup. Soak for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Remove from the syrup. Add raisins, almond, pistachio and cardamom to it.
- Mouth watering Mithi Bundi is ready to serve.
