In earlier recipes, we made creamy paneer and paneer in the microwave also. But yesterday while I was making barbeque sandwich I thought to make this masala paneer to get more tasty paneer. And I wanted to avoid marination time of paneer also. And you won't believe it came out very nicely. As we all know paneer is a very good source of calcium. Means it can be taken for healthy breakfast or anytime healthy munching also. So, enjoy this healthy and delicious recipe of Creamy Masala Paneer - cottage cheese today.

Ingredients to make Creamy Masala Paneer:
1-liter milk (I used low-fat milk - 1.5 fat)
1 to 1/2 table spoon lemon juice
or
1/2 to 1/2 cup curd
1 to 1 1/2 table spoon salt (or as per taste)
1 table spoon chilli flacks
1 table spoon oregano
1 tea spoon black pepper powder
Method to make Creamy Masala Paneer:
- Heat milk in a thick bottom pan. Stir occasionally.
- Let it come to boil.
- When boiled remove from flame and keep aside for 5 minutes.
- At this stage add salt, pepper powder, chilli flacks and oregano to it. Mix well.
- Add whisked curd or lemon juice slowly. Don't forget to stir continually.
- Add lemon juice or curd till the whey get separated.
- Strain in a clean muslin cloth and make sure to drain all water.
- Wash with water to remove lemon taste.
- Drain for 30 to 40 minutes with weight on it.
- Transfer to a plate and cut in required shape and size.
- Rich and creamy masala paneer at home is ready to serve.
