How to Make High Protein Hot Chocolate

As we all know kids are very fond of the chocolate flavour. And on the other hand, they don't like healthy food. To give them a very healthy chocolate drink I found a smart way. I tried to make a very healthy chocolate flavour powder for kids as well as all. In the case of journey add milk powder to chocolate powder and enjoy your healthy and tasty hot chocolate anywhere anytime. Just add chocolate powder to piping hot water and your healthy and high protein drink is ready to drink. So enjoy High Protein Hot Chocolate with breakfast or at any time in a whole day.

Preparation time - 5 to 7 minutes
Cooking time - 10 to 15 minutes

Ingredients to make High Protein Hot Chocolate:

1/2 cup soybeans
1/2 cup whole wheat
1/2 cup daliya channa
1/4 cup chopped cashews
1/4 cup chopped almonds
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup misri sakar or sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup drinking chocolate powder
1/4 cup milk powder

Method to make High Protein Hot Chocolate: 

  • In a pan dry roast wheat and soybeans till brown in colour at medium flame. 
  • Now add daliya channa and dry fruits. Again roast for 4 to 5 minutes at medium flame.
  • Remove from flame and let them cool at room temperature.
  • Grind till fine flour. (I did it in my home flour mill.)
  • Now add cocoa powder, drinking chocolate powder, milk powder and sugar/misri powder.
  • Mix well.
  • To make hot chocolate heat a glass of milk and then add a tablespoon of above powder to it. Let it come to boiling temperature.
  • Piping hot High Protein Hot Chocolate is ready to serve.
  • In the case of journey add 1 tablespoon chocolate powder and 2 to 3 tablespoon milk powder to piping hot water.
