Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Paneer Sandwich. As
we all know paneer – cottage cheese is an ideal source of calcium. So
here it’s a healthy and quick Paneer sandwich recipe which we can make for
breakfast also. Even this recipe is ideal for kids lunch box also. It can be a stomach filler lunch for kids. In that case avoid to grill the sandwich just make, cut and wrap in clean film. It will give them fresh sandwich even after 3 to 4 hours.
Preparation time – 10 minutes
Cooking time – 10 minutes
Serves – 4 people
Ingredients to make Paneer Sandwich:
10 slices bread – (may be wheat or multi grain)
¾ cup grated paneer – cottage cheese
1 onion - finely chopped
1 capsicum – finely chopped
1 tea spoon green chilies – finely chopped
¼ tea spoon black pepper powder
¼ tea spoon chilly flacks
¼ tea spoon oregano
Salt to taste
3 to 4 table spoon butter – (may be low fat)
2 cubes cheese – grated (opt.)
¾ cup grated paneer – cottage cheese

To serve with:
Tomato ketch up
Method to make Paneer sandwich:
- Mix finely chopped onion, capsicum, paneer and dry herbs in a mixing bowl.
- Be careful while adding salt if you are mixing cheese also.
- Spread butter over all 10 slices of bread on both sides.
- Spread paneer mixture over a bread slice and cover with another bread slice.
- Repeat the same for remaining.
- Pre heat griller and grill the sandwich till light brown or crispy.
- When ready remove from grille and cut into desire shape.
- Hot and healthy Paneer sandwich is ready to serve, serve it with tomato ketch up.
- Grilling process can be avoided.
