During festivals we are used to make traditional Indian sweet. So, here it's a home made recipe for Bindi na ladoo. This recipe is very easy and quick to make. And very fast to eat.
Preparation time - 5 minutes
Cooking time - 20 minutes
Ingredients to make Bundi na ladoo:
For bundi:
1 cup Gram flour
1 cup water
Oil for dip frying
For sugar syrup:
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 pinch orange color (opt.)
or
1/4 tea spoon saffron
3 tea spoon ghee
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
For garnishing:
Silver foil
Sliced almonds
Slices pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Raisins

For bundi:

1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 pinch orange color (opt.)
or
1/4 tea spoon saffron
3 tea spoon ghee
1 tea spoon cardamom powder
For garnishing:
Silver foil
Sliced almonds
Slices pistachio
Cardamom seeds
Raisins
- First of all take sugar in a pan and add water to it. Heat them and let sugar melt. Stir continually. Let syrup boil for 2 minutes and now syrup is ready.
- Add saffron, ghee and cardamom powder to it. Keep a side.
- Make batter from gram flour and water.
- Heat oil in a pan and drop bundi in hot oil through perforated spoon (bundi jhara). Fry the bundis over a high flame to a light golden colour, taking care to ensure that they are not very crisp.
- Add fried bundi to warm sugar syrup. Soak for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Remove from syrup. Add raisins, almond, pistachio and cardamom to it.
- Make laddus from the mixture and garnish with silver foil.
