Recipe by Naiya Sheth. Must be surprised! Choco lawa and steamed? But that's true, yesterday I made choco lawa without microwaver O.T.G. I made it in steamer. I made it with whole wheat flour but it can be made with refined flour. So, be ready to make Steamed Choco Lawa without any electric appliance.
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time - 15 to 20 minutes
Makes - 10 cup cakes (approx.)
1 cup whole wheat flour - refined flour
1/4 cup melted ghee - clarified butter
1/4 tea spoon baking soda
1 tea spoon soda bi carb
3/4 cup powder sugar
2 table spoon cocoa powder
1/4 tea spoon coffee powder
Ghee for greasing
A pinch salt
Dark chocolate pieces as needed
Chopped nuts as needed (opt.)

Ingredients to make Steamed Choco Lawa Cake:
1 cup curd1 cup whole wheat flour - refined flour
1/4 cup melted ghee - clarified butter
1/4 tea spoon baking soda
1 tea spoon soda bi carb
3/4 cup powder sugar
2 table spoon cocoa powder
1/4 tea spoon coffee powder
Ghee for greasing
A pinch salt
Dark chocolate pieces as needed
Chopped nuts as needed (opt.)
Method to make Steamed Choo Lawa Cake:
- First of all put steamer on full flame.
- Now mix curd, ghee, baking powder, soda bi carb. and mix well.
- Add sugar, cocoa powder and flour to it.
- Mix well.
- Grease moulds with ghee. No need to dust.
- Pore cake batter in mould till half. Insert dark chocolate piece in middle.
- Cover with aluminium foil.
- Steam in hot steamer for 15 to 20 minutes at full flame.
- Check it and remove from steamer.
- After 1 to 2 minutes un mould and serve delicious Steamed Choco Lawa Cake with vanilla ice cream.
- If reheating is not possible avoid adding chocolate piece.
