Cooking time - 17 minutes
Serves - 6 persons
Ingredients to make Paneer Biriyani:
for biriyani:
1 cup basmati rice - long grain rice
200 gram paneer pieces
10 - 15 cashew nut
1 table spoon curd
1/2 tea spoon lemon juice
1/2 tea spoon garam masalo
1 table spoon freshly cut mint leaves
2 cups water
Salt to taste
For tadka:
1 table spoon ghee
1 table spoon oil
1/2 tea spoon cumin seeds
1 1/2 table spoon biriyani masalo
For paste:
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 tea spoon ginger paste
4 to 5 whole dry red chilies
1/2 cup tomato
1 table spoon crushed garlic
Crush all the ingredients and make fine paste.
For garnishing:
Fried onion
Roasted cashew
Fried raisin

Method to make Paneer Biriyani:
- Wash rice and soak them. Keep a side for at least 15 minutes.
- Mean while mix paneer, curd, salt, lemon juice and other spices in a mixing bowl. Keep a side for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix all the ingredients of tadka in a big microwave proof bowl and cook for 1 minute at MICRO HI.
- Add paste to it and again cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.
- Add rice and paneer and cook for 2 minutes at MICRO HI.
- Add water and salt and stir properly.
- Cover half the bowl and cook for 7 minutes at MICRO HI. Than for 3 minutes at MICRO MED.
- And at last cook for 2 minutes at MICRO LOW. Give standing time of 2 to 4 minutes.
- Hot and delicious Paneer Biriyani is ready to serve.
- Garnish with fried onion, roasted cashew, coriander leaves and fried raisin.
- You can serve this with whipped curd.
