Cooking Tips
- For making more tasty mix vegetable add some pea nuts or sesame seeds.
- For making thick gravy you may add mashed potato, grated coconut or corn flour slurry.
- Add some drops of ghee while making sugar syrup.
- Add some of carrot, green peas, onion, tomato and spring onion while making whole wheat khichdi to make it more healthy and presentable.
- To fry onion faster add some salt while frying.
- To make sour curd normal add some water over it and put it in refrigerator for 3 to 4 hours. Then remove water and use curd.
- Add some yogurt to rotti or paratha's dough to make them softer with less of oil.
- Sprinkle some sugar to sweet biscuit container to make them fresh for long time.
- Add some sugar to ghee container for fresher ghee for long long time.
- Add some milk in sour butter milk to make it normal.
- Keep some mint leaves or garlic in rice container for fresh rice whole year.
- Add some salt to chilly - ginger paste for fresher paste.
- Add 2 -3 soaked bread slices in puri dough to make them more tasty.
- Make rotti dough before 1 - 1 1/2 hour of making it to make them softer.
- Wrap bananas in cotton cloth or paper or in paper and then cover with polythene bag to maintain them fresh for long time.
- While making dahivada, add some curd to it's batter to make them softer and because of that they will absorb less oil while frying.
- Rub some oil and salt on raw mango and then keep them in freeze to maintain them raw for longer time.
- Make 2 - 3 small holes on kachori before frying to avoid them cracking.
- Always add some lemon juice and oil in rice before boiling to make them whiter.
- While making curd add 2 - 3 drops of vinegar to make it harder.
- Put some neem leaves in grain container to keep them fresh for whole year.
- If you want to save cooking time and gas always wash toor dal in hot water and soak it for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
- Rub some salt to wash cup - saucers to clean them properly.
- Add some roasted cumin seed power or lemon juice in lady finger vegetable while cooking to make them crispy quickly.
- Add some sugar to lemon pickle to store it.
- Use wet knife to cut bread.
- Dip raw banana in butter milk after peeling off its skin to avoid darkness.
- Use corn flour to clean stain less steel sink.
