Caramelized Coffee

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: One more coffee recipe for youngsters. After so many super delicious recipes of cold coffee with ice cream, caramelized cold coffee with ice cream, espresso coffee, filter coffee and coffee banana shake now it's time to make hot caramelized coffee. Actually, the taste of caramelized sugar is different. I just love it. It will give toffee like feeling. Normally coffee is made with full-fat milk, but I tried to make it with low-fat milk and it gave me the same awesome taste.



Preparation time - 2 minutes
Cooking time - 5 to 7 minutes
Makes 1 glass

Ingredients to make Caramelized Coffee:

1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon instant coffee powder
2 to 3 tablespoon water
200 ml. milk

Method to make Caramelized Coffee:



For coffee decoction:

  • In a microwave-safe glass take water and cook it for 1 minute. Add coffee powder and mix well. Now again cook for 30 seconds.

For Caramelized sugar:



  • In a thick bottom flat pan spread sugar and cook at slow flame. When it starts melting mix and stir continually. 
  • Let it melt and get light brown color. Our Caramelized sugar is ready.

How to assemble:

  • Add hot milk carefully to sugar's pan and mix well. When the Caramelized sugar dissolves, add coffee decoction and mix well.
  • Serve Caramelized Coffee hot.
