How to Make Paneer Salsa Wrap

Recipe by Naiya Sheth: Learn how to make Paneer Salsa Wrap. In earlier recipe we knew about the making of pizza wrap. It was yummy and different. And now it's a home made recipe of Mouth watering paneer salsa wrap. It is different and very delicious. If salsa sauce is ready it's very easy and quick to make. And above all lots of cheese and paneer is used in it, means a delicious and calcium rich recipe is here. 

Preparation time - 15 minutes
Cooking time - 10 to 15 minutes
Serves  - 4 person

Ingredients to make Paneer Salsa Wrap:

For stuffing:

2 cup salsa sauce (approx.)
250 grams fresh paneer 
2 to 3 table spoon mayonnaise 
1 cup grated cheese
Salt to taste 
Black pepper powder 
1 tea spoon oil
1 tea spoon chilli flacks
1 tea spoon oregano

For wraps:

1 cup refined flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 table spoon soya flour
Salt to taste
2 table spoon oil
Milk as needed
Butter as needed

Method to make Paneer Salsa Wrap:

For wraps:

  • Mix all ingredients of wraps excluding butter in a bowl and knead semi soft dough from it.
  • Keep a side covered for 10 minutes.
  • Make equal size balls from it and roll thin roti from it. 
  • Cook them on griddle - tavi. Make sure roti's are not crispy. 
  • Keep a side covered.

For stuffing:

  • Make salsa sauce as the recipe. Cool at room temperature.
  • Make thick long slices from paneer. Add salt, pepper powder and oil to it and keep a side for 10 minutes.
  • Add  mayonnaise to salsa sauce and mix well for rich and creamy texture.
  • Shallow fry marinated paneer at low flame for 2 minutes.

How to assemble:

  • On a roti apply the mixture of salsa sauce and mayonnaise and then place paneer over it. 
  • Now spread some grated cheese over it and sprinkle some chilli flacks and oregano.
  • Fold roti as wrap and shallow fry with butter on griddle - tavi. Even wrap can be grilled on griller also.
  • Repeat the same for remaining.
  • Hot and delicious Paneer Salsa Wraps are ready to serve.
