How to make Sitafal Basundi

Recipe by Naiya Sheth : Learn how to make Sitafal Basundi. Sitafal - custard apple is very well known and all time favourite fruit. It has lots of nutritional values which are essential for our body and skin. It is rich in vitamin C and A. It promotes digestion and can be used as a cure of vomiting. We are making this home made recipe of Sitafal Basundi with condensed milk to cut cooking time.


Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time -  nil
Serves - 4 persons

Ingredients to make itafal Basundi:

2 cup sitafal pulp
1 cup fresh cream
1 to 2 drops sitafal essence
2 cup whole - full fat milk 

For garnishing:

4 to 5 table spoon sitafal pulp

Method to make Sitafal Basundi:

  • Wash and remove pulp from sitafal. De seed it properly. Keep aside in refrigerator.
  • In a big mixing bowl add sitafal pulp, fresh cream, sitafal essence, milk and condensed milk together. Mix well and blend properly with hand blander.
  • Garnish with sitafal pulp and serve with Indian bread roti or puri. Even it can be served with double roti also.
